Sit back, relax or just choose a spot from which to watch. It was a pleasant day of music in the heartland yesterday for about 600 people who turned up at the open field beside Block 10, Dakota Crescent, for a performance by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO).

The concert, which was led by conductor Quek Ling Kiong, was part of the SPH Gift of Music - SCO Community Series, which is supported by the Singapore Press Holdings.
