Tuition subsidy application for needy students in North East District now open

Application for tuition subsidies is now open for needy primary and secondary students living in the North East District, under the North East CDC Tuition Subsidy Programme.

Applicants should be Singapore citizens, or have at least one immediate family member who is a Singapore citizen. Their family's monthly household income should not exceed $2,500 a month, or the family's per capita income $700 a month. In addition, they should not be living within 500m of a centre already providing heavily subsidised tuition, such as CDAC, Sinda, or Mendaki centres.

Students can apply through community centres or residents' committees (RCs).

Upon approval, these students will receive tuition subsidies of up to $40 per subject at an RC Centre nearby.
