SINGAPORE - A total of 1,900 COEs will be available for October's first open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs). The tender opens at noon on Oct 7 and will close at 4pm on Oct 9.
Tender results will be available on Oct 9 on the www.onemotoring.com.sg website, the Land Transport Authority said in a release.
The COEs are for the following vehicle categories:
NON-TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES:
Category A : Cars (up to 1600cc & 97kW (130bhp)) 575
Category B : Cars (above 1600cc or 97kW (130bhp)) 505
Category D : Motorcycles 316
TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES:
Category C : Goods Vehicles and Buses 259
Category E : Open Category 245
COEs for categories C and E are valid till Jan 14 while COEs for categories A, B and D are valid till April 14.
Bids can be submitted through the ATMs of DBS/POSB, the Internet Banking facility of UOB, or via the OCBC phone banking services.
The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
During the bidding exercise, bidders can check on the status of their bids and revise their reserve price using these banks' services or the LTA Open Bidding website (https://ocoe.lta.gov.sg).
Members of the public are advised to bid early.
