SINGAPORE - Christmas is just around the corner and festive decorations have been going up around the island, including on public transport.
A Christmas-themed train was unveiled on the North-East Line (NEL) on Thursday (Dec 8), the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said in a Facebook post.
The train, with its interior done up in ice-blue and silver hues, and with swirling snowflake patterns, will run till Dec 31.
For the first time, embellishments will also be put up at the concourse of Dhoby Ghaut station.
LTA has launched themed trains in recent years, including red-and-white trains for this year's National Day Parade.
