A young cyclist getting a taste of riding on roads free of vehicular traffic yesterday, as part of Car-Free Sunday in the Civic District. In conjunction with the event, the Land Transport Authority gave a preview of the 90-minute Safe Riding Programme, which it will launch later this year, to inculcate safe riding habits among cyclists and users of personal mobility devices, and familiarise them with rules under the Active Mobility Act.
