Lorry flipped over after a collision with a taxi; one man sent to hospital

SINGAPORE: A lorry flipped on its side after colliding with a ComfortDelgro taxi in Sembawang on Friday afternoon.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call at 3.55pm regarding the accident at the junction of Sembawang Way and Sembawang Drive.

It deployed an ambulance, one fire bike and one fire engine to the scene. No one was trapped in the lorry or the taxi, but one man in his 50s had to be sent to hospital.

He was conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
