ERP rates at four locations in Singapore will be raised from Monday, May 4

In its latest quarterly review, the Land Transport Authority said car drivers passing gantries along the Ayer Rajah Expressway - after Jurong Town Hall towards the city - will have to pay $1 from 7am to 7.30am, up from no charge now.

In the evening - between 7pm and 7.30pm on the same highway - drivers heading towards Tuas after North Buona Vista Road will likewise have to pay $1, up from no charge.

Drivers heading for the city on the Central Expressway (CTE) will have to pay $1 at the gantry before Braddell Road between 8.30am and 9am. This time slot is currently free.

And between 8am and 8.30am, those driving towards the city on the CTE after Braddell Road, will have to pay $4 instead of $3 now.

Gantries here include those on the Pan-Island Expressway slip road into the CTE. Rates elsewhere remain unchanged.

The next review is in May for the June school holidays.
