SINGAPORE - The carriageway of East Coast Park Service Road will be closed on Sunday (Aug 21) to facilitate the TRI-Factor Triathlon 2016.

This affects the stretch of road between Exit 7A and the National Sailing Centre from 6am to 1pm, police said in a news release on Tuesday.

Auxiliary police officers will be deployed to regulate traffic and assist motorists.

Police said that it will strictly enforce parking restrictions, and vehicles found parking indiscriminately or causing obstruction will be towed.

Access will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles.
