Early closure of stations between Jurong East and Admiralty to be lifted

SINGAPORE - The early closure of stations between Jurong East and Admiralty will be lifted on Wednesday after the completion of sleeper replacement works on the North-South Line.

From last November until Tuesday, the last train from Jurong East station to Ang Mo Kio station has left at 11.58pm. As of Wednesday, it will leave at 12.17am.

After lifting the early closure timings, the last train from Marina South Pier station to Jurong East station will leave Admiralty station at 12.33am.

Train operator SMRT said on Tuesday: "We would like to thank our commuters for their understanding over the past five months as we work towards improving service and rail reliability."
