SINGAPORE - Trains were delayed on the North-East Line (NEL) on Thursday morning due to a train fault at Dhoby Ghaut station, according to SBS Transit's Intelligent Route Information System or iris mobile application.

Commuters were told to expect additional travel time of about 10 minutes in both directions, according to a 9.15am update on the app.

By about 9.50am, service had resumed.

Thursday morning's delay came after a 25-minute delay on Wednesday evening.

In a tweet at 7.18pm on Wednesday, SBS Transit said the delay was due to a power fault. Full service resumed by 7.41pm.
