Bukit Panjang LRT: Services on outer loop Service A resumed, says SMRT

SINGAPORE - Services have resumed on outer loop Service A on the Bukit Panjang LRT line after it was shut down on Monday evening.

SMRT announced the resumption on Twitter at about 12.45pm on Tuesday.

It added that free public and shuttle bus services are still available.

Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew updated his Facebook page at about 1.25pm, saying that it would take more testing and time before the line could be fully resumed.

The LRT line was shut down completely from 5.30pm on Monday, after a fire broke out in the electrical room at Senja station.
