Transport app Citymapper offers alternatives when MRT breaks down

SINGAPORE - At a loss when trains break down? Transport app provider Citymapper has introduced a feature in its wayfinding platform which will not only alert commuters to a rail glitch as soon as it happens, but suggests alternative routes as well.

For instance, if there is a breakdown on the Downtown Line between Beauty World and Bugis stations, the free app will suggest taking Bus Service 170.
