Swaying back and forth atop 5m-high poles, these performers from Australian company Strange Fruit Productions caught the attention of the lunchtime crowd at Raffles Place yesterday. The show, titled The Three Belles, was part of Arts In Your Neighbourhood, a biannual series by the National Arts Council that takes arts events out of theatres and concert halls and into the heartland. The series' seventh edition runs till Nov 27, with more than 40 activities at 16 locations. The Three Belles will be performed again at Woodlands Civic Centre today at 5pm and 7pm, and at Our Tampines Hub (Festive Plaza) tomorrow at 5pm and 7pm.
