* The eight Bangladeshi men detained late last month under the Internal Security Act for plotting terror attacks back home had each been working here for between three and 10 years, the Ministry of Home Affairs said today.

* According to a report by staffing firm Kelly Services, this year's highest paying jobs in Singapore are in these five sectors: information technology; accounting, sales and marketing; banking and finance; the healthcare and life sciences, with IT topping the list.

* The Association of Muslim Professionals is calling for the formation of a central body to address discriminatory practices by individuals or companies.
