* Yang Yin, the former China tour guide at the centre of a dispute over the assets of a wealthy widow, pleaded guilty to 120 charges earlier today. 

* A boy was taken to hospital after a wild boar reportedly chased and injured him in Punggol's Edgefield Plains on Sunday.

* The National Wages council has recommended that employers grant a wage increase of $50 to $65 for workers who earn a basic monthly salary of up to $1,100.
