* The operating hours of full-day bus lanes, which are marked in red and located mainly in the city centre, will be extended from 8 to 11pm from March 21.

* The boss of US electric car maker Tesla Motors, Mr Elon Musk, has contacted Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong over the case of a Tesla Model S sedan that was given a $15,000 carbon surcharge in Singapore.

* Some 415 dengue cases were reported in the week ending March 5, the lowest number of reported cases since the start of the year, according to the latest figures from the National Environment Agency.
