The New Paper has launched a coffee table book titled "Singapore Raw: 25 stories from 25 years of news, emotion, wow" in commemoration of its 25th anniversary.

The book contains 25 of the paper's most memorable stories over the years. They are stories of love and hate, joy and despair, sacrifice and loss. Stories featured include Singapore's favourite football son Fandi Ahmad; eight-year-old Bryan Liu, who found a kidney donor through The New Paper; the infamous former international porn star Annabel Chong, and many others.

While some are not stories in the traditional sense of the word, they are nonetheless narratives that make up the rich, unique tapestry of The New Paper. These include the history of The New Paper Big Walk, visual coverage of news, movies and its expert coverage of football - from the Malaysia Cup, the S-League, the English Premier League to the European Championships and the World Cup.

The book is written by the team of writers at The New Paper with Deputy Night Editor Dave Ang as book Editor. "Singapore Raw" is retailing for $25 per copy (GST inclusive) and is available in all major bookshops in Singapore.

Dominic Nathan, Editor of The New Paper, said: "The book tells a story of Singapore, seen through the lens of The New Paper. The stories are raw, sometimes controversial, other times heart warming, but always ground up and about people. The book captures it all. Its about News, Emotion, Wow."
