Teachers from Ministry of Education primary schools can pick up spelling strategies for the classroom at a special briefing and workshop.
The teachers' briefing on Feb 3 - part of the RHB-The Straits Times National Spelling Championship 2015 - will equip teachers with all they need to know about the mechanics of the competition.
The Straits Times Schools correspondent, Ms Debra Ann Francisco, will share ideas you can use in your classroom, while Dr Ang-Tay May Yin, from the English Language Institute of Singapore, will focus on learner strategies you can employ, among other things.
Teachers who attend will also receive a compilation of spelling tips from Little Red Dot, The Straits Times publication for primary schools.
