Tampines accident update: Mother of two boys thanks Singaporeans

The mother of the two brothers killed in Monday's horrific accident in Tampines spoke up for the first time on Wednesday night, thanking Singaporeans for their support.

In her eulogy at the wake of her two children, Madam Suliani Ang also revealed that her older son, Nigel, 13, had been a hyperactive child.

She added that Donavan, 7, was her third child because she had suffered a miscarriage before.

"Through these two boys I have been blessed. I believe they are right now in heaven," she said tearfully in Mandarin.

"For these two sons I will continue to be strong for their sake. I thank Singaporeans because I can see your love and support through this experience."

"Be it whichever race, you have shown the love of Singaporeans who support each other."

The bodies of the two boys will be cremated on Thursday afternoon at Mandai Crematorium.
