The roar of fighter planes barrelling down Lim Chu Kang Road broke the silence yesterday morning as the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) demonstrated its capabilities during Exercise Torrent. The exercise saw the 2.5km stretch turned from a road into a runway in 48 hours. It aimed to show the RSAF's ability to swiftly assemble air power to counter any threat.
