Suspected loan-shark runner John Tong Leok Han, 49, was escorted by police back to the scene of his alleged crime at Block 309, Tampines Street 32, yesterday.

Tong was charged in court last Saturday over a case of aggravated unlicensed moneylending harassment by fire two days earlier.

According to the charges, at about 9.35pm last Thursday, he wrote on the wall of a third-floor unit in Block 309 using a black marker and set fire to the door, while acting on behalf of an illegal lender named "Remy".
