Close to 200 Singapore Airlines (SIA) passengers finally landed in Singapore yesterday morning after being stuck in a Hokkaido airport for 57 hours. Flights were cancelled due to heavy snow. During that time, some passengers had to sleep on the floor of New Chitose Airport (above) in Hokkaido's capital Sapporo. The SIA travellers finally got on a flight on Sunday evening and arrived back home early yesterday.
