SPH rolls out salmon-coloured newsprint for My Paper advertising feature on Tuesday

Readers who pick up a copy of free bilingual newspaper My Paper on Tuesday may notice a new salmon-coloured newsprint introduced by Singapore Press Holdings.

A 16-page advertising feature on beauty and wellness products and services will be printed in the salmon-coloured paper, differentiating it from the rest of the paper.

"The salmon paper has a sophisticated feel to it, which serves as an ideal backdrop for high-end advertisers to showcase their offerings," said My Paper editor Rahul Pathak.

Ms Elsie Chua, SPH's Executive Vice President and Head of Integrated Sales, Marketing Division, said advertisers can work with the company for more creative options like this to deliver a greater impact for their campaigns.

Britain's Financial Times newspaper is known for its salmon-coloured pages; likewise China's Economic Observer newspaper, which comes out on Sundays.
