SPH Magazines won top honours for its key titles at the annual Media Publishers Association Singapore (MPAS) Awards yesterday.

Her World, Singapore's most- read women's magazine, was named Women's Media of the Year, while fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar won Front Cover of the Year (Licensed).

Chinese Media of the Year went to SPH Magazines' luxe title, Icon, a luxury lifestyle magazine of fashion and beauty trends which contains profiles of celebrities and influential figures as well.

The MPAS awards recognise outstanding and creative work produced by the magazine publishing industry in Singapore.

The Peak Selections: Gourmet & Travel - a quarterly spin-off title - won Food Media of the Year for the third year running. It also clinched Video Media of the Year (Online).

Burnishing its reputation as the one to beat in the industry, SPH Magazines also announced yesterday the launch of its latest brand campaign through which advertisers will have access to its 9.7 million readers in Asia.

Advertisers will see their materials not only in print but also on all digital platforms used by the titles.

SPH Magazines chief executive Loh Yew Seng said: "We aim to deliver the best multidimensional experiences to our readers, over all media platforms, to meet their interests and needs.

"The accolades from the MPAS Awards have again raised the bar and attest to our leadership in the publishing industry."
