SPHMBO increases advertising presence with largest billboard on Orchard Road

SINGAPORE - Singapore Press Holdings now offers the biggest advertising board on Orchard Road.

Its 'out of home' advertising arm SPHMBO, which provides media platforms for advertisers, has collaborated with Paragon to display a 266sqm Samsung advert on the side of the latter's luxury mall.

SPHMBO also has a 200sqm board at the Rendezvous Hotel, large format billboards at Tanglin Mall, an outdoor digital advertising screen at 313@somerset, as well as a network of indoor digital screens in Paragon itself.

Other 'out of home' media companies - that focus on consumers on the go - include JCDecaux and OOH Media, a Mediacorp enterprise, which also have boards on Orchard Road

JCDecaux is responsible for Interact@ION, Orchard's only motion sensor and touch screen platform, while OOHMedia owns the digital outdoor screen display at Orchard Gateway.

Mr Edward Tang, Head of SPHMBO, said: "Size matters in outdoor advertising and it does not come bigger than the new billboard at Paragon. We are delighted with this latest addition to our stable of media inventories to serve our advertisers."

Paragon is home to top international fashion brands and is visited by around 1.5 million people a month. The advertising board is expected to be seen by shoppers and tourists, as well as motorists travelling along Orchard Road.
