This Door Of Hope doll from the 1900s to 1940s, handcarved from pear wood and on loan from the Mint Museum Of Toys, is one of more than 30 artefacts on display at a special exhibition titled Museum Roundtable: A 20-year Journey.

The exhibition, which opened at the National Museum of Singapore on Wednesday and will be on till Feb 26, provides insight into different aspects of Singapore's heritage and culture. Entry to the exhibition is free.
