SingTel, StarHub and M1 to sell iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from Sept 19

SINGAPORE - Apple fans can get their hands on the latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from all three telcos here in just over a week's time .

SingTel, StarHub and M1 all said they will offer the new iPhones starting Sept 19 - the same day as they launch in the US.

StarHub and SingTel have also started to allow customers to register their interest in the new iPhones from today. No details on pricing with contracts were released though.

Apple on Wednesday took the wraps off a larger, 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. Among the features the latest iPhones have are Retina HD displays, a fingerprint lock called Touch ID and a 8-megapixel camera with faster auto-focus.

Apple said a no-contract iPhone 6 will retail in Singapore starting from $988 (16GB), while a no-contract iPhone 6 Plus will start at $1,148 (16GB).
