Singapore's first global health care event to be organised by SPH and SingHealth

Sphere Conferences, the conference arm of media group Singapore Press Holdings, and SingHealth will be organising Singapore's first global health care event.

The inaugural, Singapore International Healthcare Week will be a learning and networking platform for health care leaders and administrators to exchange ideas, innovations and best practices.

The three-day event which will be held at Marina Bay Sands from Aug 19 to 21 , will showcase more than 200 health care innovations and services ranging from medical equipment and supplies to information technology such as biometrics and data storage.

Industry experts such as associate professor Low Cheng Ooi, chief medical informatics officer from the Ministry of Health, and vice-president of supply chain, Kaiser Permanente, Ms Laurel Junk will speak at the congress.
