SINGAPORE - Singaporeans are generous when it comes to professing their love on Twitter, it seems.

Twitter said on Friday, the eve of Valentine's Day, that Singapore ranks Number 2 among Asia Pacific countries, based on the number of times people from Singapore said "I love you" on the social media platform.

Thailand topped the list in the region, while Sweden came in tops in the world for expressing their love on Twitter.

Twitter also collated information on when its users tend to experience milestones in their lives: January was the month for #FirstDate and #FriendZoned, March was for #BreakUp, July for #JustMarried, August for #Engaged and #OnlineDating and December for #Divorced.
