Fans of the royal baby may now get their hands on limited edition commemorative coins which were launched by The Singapore Mint on Friday.

The Royal Birth coins are available in two designs. Only 10,000 pieces were minted for each collection. The £1 and £5 coins are currently priced at $115 and $160 respectively under the early bird promotion which runs until the end of September.

The Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, welcomed their first child on July 22 amid much media fanfare. Their son, George Alexander Louis, is third in line to the British throne.

The two designs are available on Singapore Mint's website at www.singaporemint.com
