Nayli Nur Syazleen Sazali, 14, demonstrating her silat skills onstage with Nurudannah Jamil, 16, at Chong Pang Community Club (CC) yesterday.

The two were performers at Rampai Budaya, organised by the Chong Pang CC Malay Activity Executive Committee.

The annual event, now in its third year, showcases Malay-Muslim culture and language, and aims to increase their appreciation among the wider community. Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, the Parliamentary Secretary for Education, and Social and Family Development, attended yesterday's event. Dr Faishal is an MP for Nee Soon GRC.
