SIA opens new SilverKris lounge at Seoul's Incheon airport

Singapore Airlines (SIA) passengers at South Korea's Incheon airport now have their own lounge where they can relax, have a bite or catch up on work while waiting for their flights.

Before the opening of the new SilverKris facility, SIA travellers were using a shared lounge. SIA now has 15 SilverKris lounges around the world, the airline said on Tuesday.

The airline's general manager in Korea, Mr Sia Nam Kung said: "The new lounge, together with our four daily Seoul flights, demonstrates our commitment to the important South Korean market."

Separately, the carrier also announced in August last year that it would invest $20 million over the next five years to upgrade and improve its passenger lounges.
