Change Alley a shopping hub of days past

A photo of Change Alley, a tourist shopping spot since World War II, on its last day of operations on April 30, 1989. The 100m-long lane stretched from Raffles Place to Collyer Quay, and was famous in the 1930s for diverse goods at bargain prices, as well as its numerous money changers.
