SG50 Baby Jubilee Gift: A suitcase filled with eight items

SINGAPORE - Parents of babies born next year can look forward to receiving a specially-designed suitcase filled with eight items.

The SG50 Baby Jubilee Gift will include: a medallion, a shawl, a baby sling, a set of baby clothes, a diaper bag, a scrapbook, a photo frame and a set of baby books.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Grace Fu unveiled the suitcase and gifts at a community event on Sunday.

The items were chosen based on votes from the public and focus group sessions conducted by the National Population & Talent Division.

Parents can log on to www.nptd.gov.sg/sg50baby to register for the gift set.

It can be delivered for free to their homes or they can collect it at birth registration counters of maternity hospitals or at the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority.
