A service and information centre will be set up in Little India this weekend, said the Little India Shopkeepers and Heritage Association (Lisha) on Friday.

This is to "engage the concerns of stakeholders and visitors to Little India, including locals, expatriates, tourists and foreign workers" regarding Sunday's riot and the ban on selling and consuming alcohol in Little India this weekend.

The Little India Service Centre will also collate feedback and suggestions to be considered by relevant authorities.

It will be located at Block 668, Chander Road, #01- 02. Its opening hours are 3pm to 11pm on Saturday, and 12pm to 11pm on Sunday.
