A man's body was recovered by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers from Pandan Reservoir on Thursday morning.

An SCDF spokesman told The Straits Times that they received a call about the case near Block 409 Pandan Gardens earlier at 7.32am.

The body of the man, who is Chinese and believed to be in his 50s, was recovered by SCDF officers from an adjacent canal at the Pandan Reservoir and pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
