SINGAPORE - The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting a ground deployment exercise at Singapore Sports Hub on Friday (July 22).

The exercise will last from about 12.15am to 4am.

SCDF said that the exercise is part of its on-going efforts to "validate and update operational plans and procedures".

"The public is advised not to be alarmed," said SCDF.

Operational vehicles participating in this exercise will have their beacon lights switched on to alert motorists.

Signs will also be placed in the area to alert members of the public to the exercise, SCDF said.
