Safety 'lacking', so NTU orientation camp axed

ONE of the largest freshmen orientation camps at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) has been cancelled, after safety measures were found to be "lacking".

A statement released by the NTU Student Union states that "the organisers were found not to have adequately planned for the camp".

Four students were rushed to hospital when they suffered seizures during a Nanyang Business School orientation camp last year.
