SAF serviceman dies after being found unconscious at the foot of a building in Chong Pang Camp

SINGAPORE - A Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) serviceman died on Wednesday (Nov 30) morning after being found unconscious at the foot of a building in Chong Pang Camp.

Medics arrived and began resuscitative attempts at 11.26am, the SAF said in a press release.

The serviceman, who was a regular, was taken by ambulance to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11.50am.

An SAF investigation is under way and a separate police investigation will also be conducted.

The SAF said that it is assisting the deceased serviceman's family and offered its condolences, as did the Ministry of Defence.
