SINGAPORE - The opening hours of the tribute site at Tanjong Katong Primary School (TKPS) have been extended by two hours to 9pm on Wednesday and Thursday (June 10 and 11), for members of the public to pay their respects to the Sabah earthquake victims.

The site will open at 10am on Thursday.

Education Minister Heng Swee Keat made the announcement in a Facebook post on Wednesday afternoon, following the news that the bodies of the remaining TKPS pupil and teacher - Navdeep Singh Jaryal Raj Kumar, 13, and Mohammad Ghazi Mohamed, 35 - had been found.

The death toll now stands at 10 from Singapore, which includes six other pupils, another teacher and their adventure guide.

Mr Heng also appealed for the public to respect the privacy of the victims' families in their time of sorrow.

He wrote: "We will pass your words and tributes to the families when they are ready to receive them. Your support and respect for their privacy will bring comfort to them and help them through this difficult time. We are in this together."
