Sabah quake: Malaysian PM Najib sends condolences, PM Lee thanks Malaysia for support

SINGAPORE - Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has written to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to extend his condolences to Singapore and the families who lost their loved ones in the Sabah quake.

"I wish to assure you that we have taken all the necessary steps to provide immediate rescue and recovery efforts to the affected people," he wrote.

Mr Lee, in his reply, thanked Mr Najib for the help and support rendered by the Malaysian authorities to Singapore.
