Roving Chingay Parade performers and musical acts for fourth Pedestrian Night

SINGAPORE - Performers from February's Chingay Parade mingled with the crowd along a car-free stretch of Orchard Road on Saturday, for the fourth edition of the monthly Pedestrian Night.

They were accompanied by a showcase of local musical acts, including the Timbre Music Academy Collective band and the Brass Nation brass ensemble.

The stretch between Scotts Road and Bideford Road, and the carriageway of Mount Elizabeth, between Nutmeg Road and Orchard Road, were closed to traffic from 6pm to 11pm.

Introduced in October last year to revitalise Singapore's premier shopping street, Pedestrian Night will continue to take place on the first Saturday of every month until March.
