A five-metre long python was caught on Friday morning at the Ang Mo Kio industrial park after workers in the area spotted it and alerted animal rights group Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (Acres).
Mr Ronald Ong, 29, a driver, said a fellow worker told him about the snake at around 8.15am. The men then called the police and Acres.
About an hour later, two experts from Acres came and caught the snake within half an hour. The snake had been hiding under a container.
Mr Ong said: "I don't think this is the first time there was a snake. But we're not scared or worried. We will just be careful not to provoke the snake."
He added that signages warning others about snakes have been put up in the vicinity.
