SINGAPORE - Professional services firm PwC is Singapore's most popular graduate employer, according to an annual survey of more than 7,100 university students conducted by a European research institute.

PwC emerged Graduate Employer of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, in the poll conducted by Berlin-based Trendence, an employer branding and recruitment research institute. The survey asked the students about their preferred place of employment.

PwC is the top employer in the accounting and financial management sector for the fourth year running. It is also the top employer in the consulting sector, according to the survey.

"Our strategy is to stay relevant and meet the changing and ever-increasing expectations of undergraduates and graduates," said Mr Sam Kok Weng, human capital leader of PwC Singapore.

"They expect meaningful work...we have been improving our graduate programme constantly from internships, recruitment and interviews," he added.
