Police are investigating an incident at Woodlands bus interchange Tuesday evening, where a man spat at two women over a dispute about the jumping of queue.

A video of the incident posted on Facebook has gone viral, with more than 13,000 shares and 300 comments. It shows a man spitting twice at a woman, and behaving aggressively before one security staff approached him to guide him away.

A Police spokesman said officers responded to the incident at 9.40pm, and interviewed the parties involved.

In a statement, SMRT reminded all passengers to be courteous, and "that inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated and will be reported".
