Police find body in Rochor Canal on Saturday morning

SINGAPORE - A body was pulled from the Rochor Canal on Saturday morning.

When The Straits Times visited the scene near the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore premises at Lavender at about 1pm, police officers were seen carrying the body into a police van parked on Crawford Street.

The body was found near what appears to be a dam-like structure with many pipes.

It was surrounded by metal sheets similar to those used in construction sites.
