Police car collides with mini bus at Sims Avenue, 2 officers injured

SINGAPORE - Two police officers were injured in an accident involving a police car and a mini bus along Sims Avenue on Thursday (June 22) afternoon.

According to videos and photos sent in by Straits Times readers, the bus is seen having collided into the left side of a police car. The front passenger seat is damaged.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the accident at the junction of Sims Avenue and Sims Way at 3.40pm.

"A man and a woman sustained minor injuries and did not want to be taken to hospital," said SCDF.

The police told ST that they are aware of the accident, and that police investigations are ongoing.

ST understands that no one in the mini bus was hurt.
