During his visit to London last month, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong chatted with Financial Times chief foreign affairs columnist Gideon Rachman over lunch.

In a wide-ranging interview, Mr Lee gave his views on the Japanese occupation of Singapore in the second world war, the crisis in Ukraine, politics in Singapore and his use of social media to connect with the public.
