PM Lee Hsien Loong shares photo of his contribution to SG Heart Map initiative

SINGAPORE - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's contribution to the SG Heart Map is Upper Pierce Reservoir Park, he revealed on social media on Friday.

The SG Heart Map is a collective map of places in Singapore that are meaningful and special to Singaporeans.

"Singapore may be just a small red dot, but we have many reasons to call it home. The SG Heart Map project is collecting photos and stories about places which mean something special to us, to see what 'home' looks like to each of us. This is my contribution. #guesswhere," he wrote in a Facebook post on Friday.

A number of his Facebook followers were quick to guess that the photo Mr Lee posted was taken in Upper Peirce Reservoir.

"Home of the Peirce Reservior Runners.. Upper Peirce Reservior which was opened by the late Mr Lee in the 70s," Facebook user Desmond Loh commented.

Later Mr Lee tweeted that it was indeed Upper Peirce Reservoir Park.

The SG Heart Map was launched in November last year as part of Singapore's Golden Jubilee celebrations. Members of the public can share stories of their special places at www.heartmap.sg.
