Over 600 students discuss community issues at ITE seminar

More than 600 students from Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Germany are attending a seminar held at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to discuss issues based on the theme, Youth in Service, Inspiring Community.

Held at ITE College Central at Ang Mo Kio, the three-day event will see students focus their discussion on three sub-themes: the elderly, people with special needs, and the underprivileged.

The biennial seminar is a collaboration between ITE and the Vocational Training Council, Hong Kong.

It aims to provide a platform for students from ITE, VTC, and ITE's partners institutions to meet and discuss current issues and exchange ideas.
